Here is a 1981 280ZX, it's a neat little car with a lot of moxy!! The Nissan/Datsun 280zx was produced from 1979 through 1983 as a three-door hatchback sport coupe. In the American market, the 280zx was sold as a Datsun and in other markets it was badged as a Nissan. This is a two-owner, with the second owner only owning it for a few months. This is a well documented car out of the Ft. Worth area, bought brand new in 1981. We have a binder with most every repair ticket accumulated throughout it's 27 year old life. This car has a generally straight body, with minor rusting, fading and scratches. The interior is in great shape, given the year and mileage. Only mild fading and cracking of the interior trim and upholstery. The hatchback in the rear will not hold up on it's own, so lift supports will have to be replaced at some point. The motor does have a few small oil leaks, but nothing to get alarmed about. From most any vantage point, you can see that no major engine work appears to have been performed on this little inline 6 cylinder. This 280zx has plenty of life left in it, with the right kind of driver behind the wheel. This car is equipped with AM/FM stereo, heat, and freeze you out of the car Air Conditioning.
